Trance artists worth listening to
Here are some trance artists who brought out remarkable tracks under their own name or produced good remixes for other artists.
Above & Beyond: Although their last works did not really convince me that much their name stands for the best producers and remixers throughout the last years. Terrific work for Madonna, Fragma and others as well as tracks under their own name or under the project “Oceanlab” proved high quality over and over again.
Alex M.O.R.P.H.: This german DJ has the ability to improve almost every song that he works on - even tracks you might not even liked at all in the original version. Surely one of his finest works in recent times was the euphoric remix for Matt Darey’s “eternity”.
Danjo & Styles: I did not quite notice songs by these dutch artists but their remixes are elite. Through them Epos “Vivagio” or Arizona vs. Passiva “Halo” became real anthems.
Menno de Jong: Not only his own productions are fantastic, Menno has a very good radio show which can be listened to via etn.fm and he made a very good remix for Mark Otten’s “So serene”
Paul van Dyk: Although I am from Berlin as well as Paul I don’t necessarly think that he is the “best DJ in the world” as one magazine elected him. Nevertheless he released many good quality tracks throughout the years either for himself or as remixes for others. There is this typical Paul van Dyk style that you recognize easily at a remix.
